I don't like the switcher. I can't get this KVM switch to work. I have it connected to a Windows XP SP3 machine and a Linux machine, and it can switch to the Linux machine fine, but if I have not used the XP machine for more than a day, then the monitor will not switch to the Windows machine, and I will have to reboot the Windows machine. It is flimsy and cheap, and the wire will easily break. Get me my keyboard shortcut for switching.Terrible product.

This item was just what I needed to be able to use two computers with just the switch of a button;. Great price. Received this item ahead of the expected date of delivery.
Monitor, keyboard and mouse works in both computer without any major issues or workarounds. This product works as advertized. I am using it to swtich back n forth between windows xp(laptop) and windows 7(desktop) and works without any issues. Its a simple plug n play device. Only thing which comes up sometime is that it takes few seconds to recognize keyboard when one of my computer wakes up from hibernation but this is not a big deal at all.Best of luck in your KVM switch hunt.
I have used this now for 3 weeks and it works great.Use it with a MSFT wireless keyboard and mouse and have no issues at all
